RadioMaster makes three very popular transmitters that suit different profiles: the mid-size Boxer, the full-size TX16S and the compact Pocket. All three use hall gimbals and the EdgeTX firmware, so the real difference is in format, screen, protocol options and price. This comparison helps you choose based on how you fly and how much you want to spend.
The Boxer is mid-size with a gamepad-style grip, comfortable for pinch or thumbs and easy to carry. The TX16S is a full-size desktop radio, with more room for switches and a more complete feel in the hands, at the cost of more bulk and weight. The Pocket is the most compact and light, made to fit in any backpack; its gimbals fold down for transport. If you travel a lot, the Pocket wins; if you want a reference radio for home, the TX16S is the most generous.
All three use hall effect gimbals, with no potentiometers to wear out, which improves precision and durability over more basic gimbals. On protocol, the Boxer and the TX16S come in a 4-in-1 multiprotocol version (compatible with many receivers) and also in a built-in ELRS version; the Pocket ships with ELRS from the factory. If you've already settled on ExpressLRS, any of the three fits; if you want the flexibility to fly models with varied receivers, the 4-in-1 versions of the Boxer or TX16S give you more headroom.
For most pilots, the Boxer is the sweet spot: good size, hall gimbals and a contained price without giving up much. If you want the most complete experience (large color screen, more switches and expansion capacity) and don't mind the size or paying a bit more, the TX16S is the workhorse. If you're starting out and want to spend little, or you want a travel radio that takes up almost no space, the Pocket delivers with built-in ELRS. In short: Boxer for almost everyone, TX16S if you want it all, Pocket to start cheap or travel.
